Say Yes To Profits specializes in virtual CFO services for consultants and service-based businesses who desire to position their business to maximize profits and cash flow while paying the smallest legal amount possible in taxes. We strategically combine financial management (bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and taxes) with financial consulting and accountability.


Typically, over 90% of our clients grow between 30% and 350% within 12 months while saving 60% plus on business taxes. We strive to help our clients build profitable million-dollar businesses sooner than they think. 


Educating business owners on the importance of financial management is a huge component here. Therefore, we produce content through our weekly Say Yes To Profits video podcast, company blog, and social media outlets. Our CEO, Octavia Conner, often speaks for business conferences, chambers of commerce, and organizations across the U.S.

While we work remotely, we also maintain regular, predictable business hours.


We meet face-to-face quarterly for team building and bonding. Having a great personality with the ability to work productively via video daily is essential. We desire team members that work exclusively for Say Yes To Profits during regular business hours.


You will need a designated, quiet, office space where you can dedicate your time, attention, and 100% of your energy to your job. With the help of technology such as Slack, Asana, Google Suite, Zoom, and more, you will effortlessly connect with your team, clients, and others daily.

You will be required to complete a video answering three key questions. The video can be completed with your mobile device and uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo. The video will only be viewed by the SYTP Hiring Team. Any applications submitted without a video will be disqualified.

If your application is a good match, the email will include a link for you to schedule a virtual interview. You will have only 48 hours to schedule your interview. After 48 hours, the link expires.

If your application is not a good match, the email will be a thank you notice for taking the time to apply with our company.


After the virtual interview, depending on the position, you may be required to complete a second interview or prepare a presentation to present to our leadership team.


The top 3 applicants will then be required to complete the DISC and Gallup Strengths Finder assessments.

The cost of these assessments is covered by the company.


The last 1 to 2 applicants will be required to pass a national criminal background check. 


The last 1 to 2 applicants will be offered to complete a 2-week to 30-day trial period. 

During the trial period, you are paid for your time. The trial period is an opportunity for you and SYTP to determine if it is mutually beneficial to work together. If it is a great fit, you will be offered a position with the company after your trial period at a competitive pay rate.

The Client-Facing Accountant will oversee the execution of the day-to-day operations of multiple clients' accounting systems. The accountant will be responsible for the upkeep of clients' QuickBooks Online system and closing the books by the monthly deadline.

This position requires a high-energy, self-directed, detail-oriented, great communicator and friendly, people-person individual to assist with the following:

  • Client Management – Provide a range of accounting services to 6 to 10 clients, empowering them to make wise and informed financial decisions.
  • Maintaining Accounting Software – Maintain client's QuickBooks Online accounting software, requiring month-end closing and financial statement preparation.
  • Accounting Duties – Assist with accounts receivables, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and other accounting duties as needed.
  • Cash Flow Management – Create weekly and monthly cash flow reports using our cloud-based software and identify improvement strategies for clients.
  • KPI Tracking – Assist with helping clients achieve yearly goals outlined in their strategic financial plan
  • Client Success – Assist with client on-boarding and effectively communicate with clients regarding financial matters to ensure 100% satisfaction.
  • Improve Operating Efficiencies – Work directly with Octavia to improve the overall company and financial operations.
  • Company Internal Organization – Complete virtual training and assist with creating and improving company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
  • Company Success – Create and collaborate with the Say Yes To Profits team to improve the overall success of the company.


  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • 1 to 3 years of proven QuickBooks Online experience is a plus
  • Friendly, professional & punctual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, strong organization skills and detail-oriented
  • Fast learner with the ability to multi-task, flexible, and quickly adapt to change
  • Ability to operate in excellence under pressure


  • You are expected to work 15 to 30 hours per week, with 90% completed remotely.
  • You will be required to attend quarterly company retreats and in-person team meetings.
  • A dedicated office space that has a reliable, high-speed internet connection.


  • Base pay between $17 - $20 hourly depending on experience
  • Bonus pay included when if help secure new clients for the firm
